The Energizer runs a variety of classes which are all lead by certified instructors.

Intensity Guide

In living a healthy, active lifestyle, we recommend participating in a variety of classes. Why? Research shows a balanced workout of cross-training will assist in minimizing overuse stress to joints and ligaments. Please select the intensity which best suits your fitness level. Advise the Fitness Leaders if you have special considerations (i.e. pre/post natal, knee problems, etc.). Our Certified Leaders can accommodate your needs. 

Specialty Classes

Monthy specialty classes including P90X, Zumba, Insanity...and our early morning circuit class!



Take your workout to the next level. P90X will boost your metabolism, increase your cardio performance and help you lose fat quicker. It is a high intensity workout that keeps you working to your maximum capacity. Give yourself a challenge that your body will thank you for!



This class will incorporate both cardio and anaerobic aspects of training into a fun stimulating workout! Ideal for runners, tri-athletes and anyone interested in cross training! Tickets issued at front desk 10 minutes prior to each class! See schedule for class times. Limited Space. 

Barre Burn

Most barre-based classes use a combination of postures inspired by ballet and other disciplines like Toga and Pilates. The barre is used as a prop to balance while doing exercises that focus on isometric strength training (holding your body still while you contract a specific set of muscles) combined with high reps of small range-of-motion movements. Don't be surprised if the class incorporates light handheld weights to bring the burn during all those reps, as well as mats for targeted core work


Join Teresa Pyramid workout class which will boost your metabolism, increase your cardio performance and help you lose fat quicker. This class is based on intervals consisting of 
15-30-45 seconds of performance followed by a 60 second rest. 



Get strong and mobile using natural movement exercises, it’s a workout like no other. Fun and challenging as you learn to move freely like a child or an animal. You’ll work your entire body – Legs, core, upper body and arms using your own bodyweight for a great workout.

Kung Fu

Tibetan White Crane (Pak Hok Pai) Kung Fu is a complete martial art system that integrates the “Si Ji Fa” (四擊法) or the Four Martial Arts Skills of Ti (踢) Kicking, Da (打) Striking, Shuai (摔) Grappling and Throwing, and Na (拿) Seizing and Controlling. The system also provides training in a variety of Chinese weaponry including staff, various swords and pole arms. 

The Energizer Fitness Centre offers free weekly classes on this unique style every Thursday from 5pm to 6:15pm. Beginners or advanced martial artists are welcome as we can tailor the class to the individual needs. Whether you are looking to learn self-defense or just have a great work out and increase your strength, flexibility, stamina and overall health, this program can meet your needs. Drop In. HIIT and MIST combines the best of popular workouts into one class. We’ll do some high intensity interval training and moderate intensity strength training using weights and your body weight. all you need to do is come and workout to the level you are able to push it to.

Muscle Mix

This workout will mix it up with a variety of weight training exercises, utilizing various pieces of equipment. Keeping those muscle groups toned and sculpted.

Afterwork Yoga Tuesdays

Vinyasa Style Yoga will be practiced in this 60 minute afterwork class. This is a flow class in which all levels from beginner, intermediate, and advanced will be instructed. Sign up at Energizer’s front desk 

A minimum of 5 participants are required to attend or class will be cancelled. Mats provided.


The Energizer has a wide variety of daytime Hatha Style Yoga programs available from beginner, intermediate, advanced levels. All classes are all 60 minutes long.
